Can we just take a moment and address the fact that during world war two a ship was sunk with potatoes.
This game certainly seems like it’ll be interesting. For those of you who don’t wish to watch the video on the website, it’s effectively a multiplayer simulation of the progression of humanity, or at least, that’s what the creators aspire for it to be. According to the video each person will be able tot invent their own skills and tools, which seems like it’ll go terribly wrong, especially considering the mindset of most people, the thought process of which is gloriously modeled in these two articles. From the screenshots in the FAQ it appears as if the game will be isometric in early version (think civ III style graphics) but the creators plan to add a fully 3D first-person version. Also this is me selling out and using my referral link in hopes of getting the game earlier.
